Associate membership fees of $150 per year will apply on an annual basis

Application for Membership

The object of the Society is to promote education and resources for the diverse teams that provide paediatric anaesthesia and pain management. This includes anyone who cares for, or has in interest in anaesthesia, peri-procedural care and pain management for children and young people. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply. To Apply

  1. You will be asked to include 2 SPANZA members to nominate you in your application (or if not possible, see below).
  2. Complete the online application form and submit for approval and processing.

If you don’t know 2 SPANZA members, don’t worry, you can:

  1. Contact your local tertiary paediatric hospital to find a member, or
  2. List in your application that a CV will be sent, and email this to members@spanza.org.au. An Executive member will then be in touch to chat and welcome you to our Society.

Your membership will be able to be processed and approved more quickly if you include 2 nominators (SPANZA members) on your application.

Need to suspend your membership?

Suspended membership

Upon application in writing, a member may apply prospectively for suspended membership for a period of 12 months (or pro rata thereof) and will be considered for periods of unpaid leave or breaks from practice. Approval will be at the discretion of the Executive and kept in confidence.

Discounted membership

Upon application in writing, a member may apply prospectively for discounted membership for a period of 12 months for good and compelling reason such as financial hardship. Approval will be at the discretion of the Executive.

Cancellation

If the subscription of a Member is unpaid for a period of 3 months after it becomes due, the person shall cease to be a Member of the Association and shall lose the benefits and access associated with Membership.

Privacy Policy

This website is managed by Will Organise Pty Ltd (ABN 84 606 495 381) (“Will Organise”), as a contractor to the Society for Paediatric Anaesthesia in New Zealand and Australia Incorporated (“SPANZA”).  Will Organise provides secretariat and membership management services to SPANZA and assists us with the management of our conferences and other events.

Data (including personal information) that you submit in connection with this website, your application for and renewal of membership and in other interactions with this website, will be accessed and used by Will Organise for the purposes of performing their secretariat services, to assist us to provide member-services to you and to help us manage our relationship with you.

The information you provide when you submit your personal information to us will be collected by Will Organise Pty Ltd and will be shared with SPANZA, as set in our privacy collection statements and privacy policy.
