The SPANZA Executive Committee is now inviting nominations for upcoming Executive positions. Executive members serve a three‑year term, after which they may seek renomination. When any Executive position becomes vacant or is due for renomination, we welcome expressions of interest from SPANZA members who would like to contribute to the leadership of our organisation.
About the Executive Committee Role: Serving on the Executive Committee offers a valuable
opportunity to contribute to the direction and development of paediatric
anaesthesia across Australia and New Zealand.
Term Length: Three
years per term, with a maximum of four terms (12 years).
Meeting schedule: Virtual Executive meetings are held every four weeks on
Tuesday evenings at 6:00pm AEST/AEDT and generally run no longer than two hours
(though occasionally may extend).
Subcommittee involvement: Executive members may also be invited to serve as representatives on one of the
SPANZA Subcommittee's.
Experience: Participation is
highly rewarding, offering insight, professional growth, and a chance to
contribute during an exciting period of development and change within SPANZA.

How to Nominate:
If you are interested in joining the SPANZA Executive Committee, please
complete the nomination form available at the bottom of the Executive Committee page on the SPANZA
website.
Your
submission must include:
A completed nomination form signed by two financial SPANZA members
A photo
A 200‑word position statement
All nomination materials must be received no later than COB 28th September 2026.
